The IIP website is designed to provide easy access to public-domain vocational interest scales and measures and is available to researchers working on the development of new interest models and interest assessment strategies. This site was initiated by James Rounds, Professor of Educational Psychology and Psychology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in close collaboration with Hsin-Ya Liao, Associate Professor of Psychology at Washington State University, Patrick Armstrong, Associate Professor of Psychology at Iowa State University, and Rong Su, Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at University of Iowa, who also developed and maintains this site. The scales and items were developed and written by graduate students affiliated with James Rounds and Patrick Armstrong. This site also serves as a forum for the dissemination of psychometric ideas and research findings in vocational interest measurement and research.
This site currently includes 31 basic interest scales and RIASEC scales along with their items and related psychometrics.
